Booking
How do I book a tattoo?
Message Lifewell through WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook. Share the idea, placement, approximate size and useful references. Once the direction, quote and date are agreed, a deposit secures the booking.
Are walk-ins welcome?
Yes, subject to availability. Smaller tattoos may be possible on the same day. Larger or custom pieces should be booked ahead.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Give at least 48 hours’ notice. With less notice, the deposit may be forfeited and a late cancellation or no-show may incur a charge equal to 50% of the booking price.
Pricing
How much does a tattoo cost?
The minimum is Rp1,000,000 per person. Simple designs up to approximately 5 × 5 cm are Rp1,000,000 for one, Rp1,250,000 for two or Rp1,500,000 for three, per person and subject to terms. Larger work is quoted per design.
How does the deposit work?
The deposit is 25% of the booking price, with a Rp500,000 minimum. It is applied to the final tattoo price. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a friend or family member with at least 48 hours’ notice.
Tattoo Day
How should I prepare?
Sleep well, eat a proper meal, stay hydrated and wear clean, loose clothing that makes the placement easy to access. Do not arrive sunburned or unwell.
How long will it take?
That depends on size, detail, placement, breaks and how the skin responds. Lifewell can estimate more accurately after reviewing the design.
Will it hurt?
Tattooing involves discomfort and sensitivity varies. Tell the artist how you feel during the session so breaks can be managed appropriately.
Safety
What hygiene practices are used?
Sealed sterile single-use needles, single-use ink cups and razors, fresh gloves, replaced protective barriers, sanitized surfaces and appropriate sharps disposal. See the Hygiene page for details.
What health concerns should I mention?
Tell the studio if you are unwell, have a skin issue at the placement, take medication that may affect tattooing or have been advised not to be tattooed. Consult a healthcare professional when appropriate.
Healing
How do I care for a fresh tattoo?
Follow the bandage method used by the artist, keep the area clean and dry, and avoid soaking, sunlight, friction and scratching. Use the Aftercare page as your guide.
When is a touch-up complimentary?
Send a clear photo within three months of the original tattoo date. The policy excludes ignored aftercare, work altered by another artist, first reports made after three months and changes outside the original design.
When should I seek help?
Contact Lifewell when you are uncertain. Seek prompt medical care for severe or worsening symptoms such as spreading redness, fever, foul discharge, red streaks, blistering or increasing pain.
